Concrete equipment supplier Armcon will be returning to the UK Concrete Show for the 10th time this year.

After a transformative period marked by strategic re-evaluation and expansion, the company is eager to demonstrate its enhanced capabilities and commitment to excellence in the concrete industry.

Last year, it embarked on a new strategic direction to diversify its offerings and solidify its position as one of the premier providers of concrete equipment in the UK. The initial phase has now been successfully implemented, highlighted by the acquisition of two dealerships that signify a pivotal moment in Armcon's history.

These include Armcon's appointment as the authorised Terex Proall dealer for the northern region of the UK and Wales, allowing Armcon to offer customers access to some of the most advanced equipment available in the concrete market.

In addition to the Terex Proall dealership, Armcon has also secured the Constmach batching plants and silos dealership for the entire UK market, which, says the company, is a strategic move underscoring its commitment to providing customers with a comprehensive range of solutions tailored to their diverse needs and requirements.

Commenting on the new developments, Sean Warburton, managing director, Armcon, said: "We’re very excited about these new dealerships as they enable us to provide our customers with the most advanced and superior equipment in the concrete market, building on our decades-long journey from precast concrete to the forefront of concrete delivery advancement."

Central to Armcon's success, adds Warburton, is its dedicated team of professionals committed to delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality engineering support.

Looking ahead, Armcon recognises the importance of investing in the future of the industry by welcoming young apprentices into its fold. Under the guidance of its seasoned engineers, apprentices undergo rigorous training to become the next generation of leaders in the concrete industry, ensuring a legacy of excellence and innovation.

Moreover, Armcon's state-of-the-art facility in Poynton, south of Manchester, underscores its commitment to minimising downtime and maximising efficiency for its customers. With over £1 million worth of parts for volumetric concrete mixers and comprehensive workshop and service bays, Armcon offers a range of services including drive-in services, machine remanufacturing, and routine maintenance inspections.

"At Armcon, we understand that minimising downtime is crucial for our customers, which is why our field engineering team is dedicated to providing prompt and efficient support wherever you are. Working with us, you can be confident that any issue will be resolved swiftly and effectively,” says Warburton.

But it’s not just the bottom line and customer satisfaction that are driving the company forward, says Warburton. “As stewards of the environment, we are committed to sustainable practices that minimize our carbon footprint. Our technologies are engineered to optimize resource usage, reduce energy consumption, and minimize waste generation, helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals without compromising on performance.”
