Formatech Ltd will use the UK Concrete Show 2026 to mark its official launch into the UK and Ireland market, supporting precast producers with specialist lifting, fixing and connecting systems, formwork solutions and architectural façade technologies from leading European manufacturers.

At the show, Formatech will highlight new supply chain partnerships with PHILIPP Group, NOE Betongestaltung and RATEC, alongside the UK debut of the PHILIPP LASI Box, which has been entered into the UK Concrete Show New Product Award 2026.

The PHILIPP LASI Box is a new integrated solution designed specifically for securing precast concrete elements during road transport. Intended for architectural and structural precast panels, walls and heavy concrete components, it supports safer, more repeatable and compliant load securing during delivery.

Key features include compliance with EN 12195 and VDI 2700 transport regulations, near-unrestricted diagonal lashing in all directions, and a cast-in system that removes the need for temporary or improvised transport fixings. The LASI Box is available in multiple load capacities, including stainless-steel options, and is designed for simple handling — unfold the loop and secure.

From a productivity and sustainability perspective, the system helps reduce disposable transport materials, minimise damage to precast elements in transit, and speed up loading and unloading operations. By integrating directly into the precast element, it also reduces site intervention and rework.

Visitors to Stand J45 can expect the first UK public showcase of the PHILIPP LASI Box, technical guidance from Formatech’s team, early-stage project support for UK and Irish manufacturers, and information on upcoming Lunch & Learn and CPD-style technical sessions.
