PCT Chemie

PCT Chemie will showcase its Retanol range of screed additives, designed to enhance screed performance through rapid drying times, high early strength and reduced shrinkage, supporting faster and more predictable construction programmes.

Founded in Germany in 2006 and established in the UK market in 2014, PCT Chemie has built a reputation for reliability, safety and consistent performance. Production and research are based in Germany, with a UK-based technical team providing local support, specification guidance and on-site advice.

A key product on display will be Retanol Xtreme, developed for projects where programme acceleration is critical. The product delivers very high early and final strength, with screeds typically ready for tiling after two days and suitable for underfloor heating after five days, helping bring follow-on trades forward.

The Retanol system is BREEAM and TÜV certified and is used by a network of more than 680 specialist screeding companies. By improving screed performance at the mix stage, the system supports more economical and sustainable construction, reducing delays while maintaining quality and durability.
