Deactivator Bio

Deactivator Bio is a very high performance, low viscosity chemical release agent and protective barrier compound. It is based on a blend of fatty acids dispersed in a vegetable oil base, with the latest in high performance eco-solvents that are release agents in their own right. As a release agent it creates a very high cast concrete surface that is free of blow holes or pinholes as it is designed to help the escape of air from the wet concrete to escape quickly up the formwork to atmosphere and not be trapped on the concrete surface.  It can also be used to prevent concrete build up on plant and machinery via the formation of high release calcium soaps which act as a barrier protective layer when in contact with cementitious material, avoiding the need to use corrosive acid-based cleaners. Deactivator Bio is fully biodegradable and has a very low odour. It is suitable for use on all types of formwork including expanded polystyrene.
