Christian holds the position of Lead Materials Scientist and Technical Expert at Concrete Preservation Technologies (CPT), an independent company that, for 20 years, has helped tackle corrosion risk and management in structures globally. Christian is a member of many national and international corrosion and concrete repair associations, from the Institute of Corrosion in the UK to the Australasian Corrosion Association, holds patents and is well published in the field of corrosion. As a part of his role at CPT, he undertakes research for groups such as Loughborough University and NHS trusts, as well as overseeing corrosion management projects both in the UK and overseas.
