Call for papers now open: Lead the conversation in 2026

Call for papers now open: Lead the conversation in 2026

We’re excited to announce our call for papers for The UK Concrete Show 2026, taking place from 25–26 March at The NEC, Birmingham.

Located in the Concrete Connect Seminar Theatre, last year’s programme was a huge success, attracting standing-room-only audiences and sparking debate on some of the most pressing issues in our sector, from sustainable concrete and net zero pathways, to emerging regulations and best practice, and the latest in innovative materials and digital technologies! You can still watch the Wednesday and Thursday streams from the 2025 sessions.

Now, we’re inviting fresh ideas and new voices to take the stage in 2026. Are you able to contribute key insights into the future of sustainable concrete; share a case study demonstrating genuine innovation shaping the sector; or showcase the latest technology driving change in the repair and maintenance of concrete? If you can, we’d love to hear from you.

Why submit a paper?

Being part of the programme is your chance to make a real contribution to the UK’s concrete construction sector. By sharing your expertise, research, or project experience, you’ll help advance the collective knowledge of the industry and inspire meaningful change.

It’s also a chance to share ideas with peers, exchange experiences, and contribute to the ongoing dialogue that drives innovation across the sector. With a highly engaged audience ready to learn, debate and exchange ideas, your session could leave a lasting impact well beyond the show floor.

What you need to know

The seminar programme will once again be hosted by Susannah Streeter, leading broadcaster and sustainability commentator, who brings her expertise in chairing high-profile industry events.

Each session is built around concise, engaging talks, ideally up to 15 minutes, followed by a short Q&A with the audience. The session then concludes with a panel discussion, bringing speakers onto the stage to share perspectives, debate key issues, and answer audience questions.

Proposals must be submitted by Friday 5 December 2025, so don’t miss your chance to contribute to the conversation and help shape the industry’s future.
